This new program will train future dancers and assist with molding performers and teachers!
Audition date: Friday 1/21
from 11-12:30pm.
Think of it as a free dance class...Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Hip Hop elements will be taught.
Please RSVP by replying with your full name and age. Must RSVP to hold your audition spot!
Requirements:
*At least 18 years of age (and older).
*Males and Females welcome!
*Previous dance experience (please bring a resume listing dance/performance experience, dance teaching jobs and photo)
*We are looking for dancers with a strong passion for dance, willingness to learn and COMMITMENT.
*Currently, rehearsals are only Fridays from 11-12:30pm, but will extend as the company does. If you cannot make Friday rehearsals from 11-12:30pm please do not attend.
*Dancers will be considered Scholarship Students of our studio and will be able to take unlimited classes for a small monthly fee
(Required classes will be discussed at audition).
*Dancers will work out shifts with owner and gain knowledge on how to assist with teaching, front desk management and dance company experience (performance opportunites such as Celebrate Dance and other SD events).
*There is the possibility of pay for performances (depending on stipends for shows), HOWEVER, this program is based on gaining experience and resume building more so than a paycheck.
